My name is Amanda owner of Amanda's Cookie Jar. I operate under Ohio's Cottage Food laws for home bakeries.

My journey with cookie decorating started in November of 2018 when I saw some super cute cookies online. The Instagram videos made it look so easy, so I thought..I can do that! I got all of the necessary supplies and ingredients and made my cookies. While they didn't turn out the best, I was still so proud of them and took them to our family party anyways. After this, I was determined to make prettier cookies and I've been hooked ever since! I am a self-taught cookier and spend a lot of time soaking up cookie knowledge from resources all over (thank you, internet!). I love challenging myself with each order and trying out new techniques. Outside of cookies, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and working as an Occupational Therapist for Aultman Hospital.
